I am a builder. I have been on the building team and executive management of the Autry Museum of the American West, the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Getty Center, and the Getty Villa. I successfully designed and built their cultural stores, created the processes and operations, and hired and managed their employees. I also designed and manufactured countless products inspired by the art and objects in their collections.

I have partnered with the Goldman Sachs Foundation’s 10,000 Small Businesses program and advised hundreds of small businesses as they developed opportunities for growth and created more jobs as their businesses grew.

 I started DeLand Consulting to activate my experience and knowledge and assist nonprofit museums, botanical gardens, performing arts centers, libraries, social services organizations, and for-profit small businesses of all kinds.
